There are 2 National Key Disciplines---“Information and Communication Engineering” and “Electronic Science and Technology”, 2 doctoral station of first-class discipline and post-doctoral station as well as 5 National Secondary Key Disciplines covering “Communication and Information System”, “Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology”, “Signal and Information Processing”, “Circuit and System” and “Information Security” in the School of Information Science and Engineering of Southeast University. To be specific, 2 National first key disciplines have been successfully selected as the projects of Advantage Discipline Construction of Jiangsu Higher Institutions Phase I. The School boasts two National Key Laboratory---“Mobile Communication” and “Millimeter Wave”, one RF and Photoelectric Integrated Circuit Engineering Center affiliated to the Ministry of Education, one National Integrated Circuit Talent Cultivation Base and one National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Processing affiliated to the Ministry of Education. “National Laboratory of Communication Technology” is under construction.
