Our school’s successful research in high-tech products has attracted a lot of investment and cooperation opportunities from quite a few enterprises and individuals. At present, our school boasts altogether four high-tech companies, with their total capital exceeding 70 million RMB.
SEUCOMM Corporation Ltd.
SEUCOMM Corporation Ltd., founded with the joint capital of Southeast University, Jiangsu Information Construction Investment Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Wedyson Communication Technology Co. Ltd., specializes in the R&D of 3G-CDMA mobile phones, with a registered capital of 37.5 million RMB. Based on the strong advantages of the National Communications Laboratory of Southeast University in mobile communication research, SEUCOMM has reached the internationally advanced level in its development of 3G mobile communication technology, as shown in the 3G-CDMA base station and mobile phone sample it has developed. The two products, which have applied for nearly 10 national patents for invention, have been selected as major achievements for the 15th Anniversary Achievements Exhibition of China National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863). SEUCOMM, with a team of high-level professional talents as well as a favorable atmosphere for innovations and R&D in high technology, has been striving to create the modern business management mechanism and advanced business operating mode. Now the business scope of SEUCOMM mainly covers the following aspects: the development and sales of the ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) for mobile and wireless communication; the development and sales of mobile and wireless communication protocol software and relevant application software; solutions to the mobile phone wireless network and base station system; the development and sales of the application-specific test equipment for mobile communication; and the development of value-added service of mobile communication.
Nanjing SEU Wideband Communication Technology Co. Ltd.
Nanjing SEU Wideband Communication Technology Co. Ltd., a high-tech company jointly founded by Southeast University, Nanjing Postel Communication Co. Ltd., Jiangsu Govtor Capital and Jiangsu Tianchuang Communication Co. Ltd., specializes in the R&D and production of mobile communication RF (radio frequency) system based on the expertise of National Millimeter Waves Laboratory of Southeast University, with a registered capital of 31 million RMB. At present, the Company has reached the nationally advanced level in terms of its R&D of 3G mobile communication RF system. The base station RF subsystem and linearization power amplifier of cdma2000 and WCDMA it has developed independently have been applied to China’s 3G mobile communication experiment system; in addition, the two products have been displayed as major achievements on the 15th Anniversary Achievements Exhibition of China National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863) held in Beijing in February this year, and successfully passed the acceptance inspection of the experts for Program 863.
Jiangsu Dongqi Information Technology Co. Ltd.
Jiangsu Dongqi Information Technology Co. Ltd., a high-tech company founded in January of 2000 with the investment mainly from Jiangsu Gortor Capital, integrates research, production and sales while specializing in the development of software and hardware, with a registered capital of 13.98 million RMB. Led by President Wu Lenan, director of the Multimedia Technology Research Institute and doctoral supervisor with the Department of Radio Engineering of Southeast University, the Company boasts a top-level high-tech research team made up mainly of professors, doctors and masters from both international and domestic renowned universities. Based on the Multimedia Technology Research Institute of Southeast University, the Company has been striving for technological innovations and developed the two major product series of digital monitoring and medical electronics, with the “eagle’s look” registered as their trademark. With one year’s effort, the company has formed four leading products, i.e. GPS (global positioning system), GIS (geographic information system), NMIS (network-based management information system) and MMS (multimedia monitoring system). Integrating 4G technology, the Company has provided for China’s Golden Shield Project the “security administration information system for the hotel industry” and the “command and dispatching system for city alarming” as well as the matched “terminal dedicated for police service”. The Company obtained the certificate of ISO9001 quality system (2000 edition) in 2001.
Jiangsu SEU Mobile & Internet Technology Co. Ltd.
Jiangsu SEU Mobile & Internet Technology Co. Ltd. (SEMIT) was founded on January 15, 2002, on the back of the National Mobile Communications Laboratory and the Department of Radio Engineering of Southeast University. Mainly sponsored by Southeast University (SEU) and SEU National Science Park, it's one of the first technology companies that have been established in the National Science Park. With nearly 30 research personnel, the Company boasts nice working environment and active working atmosphere. Focusing on the development of the products and research on the key technologies in the fields of mobile communication and the Internet, SEMIT has kept close cooperation with related companies and institutions both at home and abroad.
SEMIT, along with the National Mobile Communications Laboratory, is a pioneer in the exploration of Bluetooth in China. Now SEMIT have successfully completed the exploration of the Protocol Stack in line with Bluetooth 1.1 Standard and a variety of Bluetooth products. Here are the products we have put out:
